Scott’s experience in tree service began in 1990, and by 1999, Scott started his own business. In an attempt to fuel his passion, Scott knew he needed to set himself apart from the competition.

By December 2004, Scott obtained distinction by the ISA as a certified arborist and utility specialist. In January 2015, Shearer Tree Service moved into its new home located at 585 US Highway 6, LaSalle, IL 61301. Today, STS has become the premier tree service in the Illinois Valley and its service area reaches a 100-mile radius. Scott’s attention to detail is not limited to his education but is carried over into his business by hiring experienced, knowledgeable and friendly tree trimmers and climbers.

We offer free estimates for diagnosis, treatment, trimming, and tree and stump removal. During the spring and summer months, we also sell premium hardwood mulch.
